Hello, I have a 87 MK3 with a 1JZ-GTE swap and seem to be losing some coolant. I am going to do a compression test but can only find a guide for the 7m. I was just cuious as to what i need to unplug before i start cranking the motor other than the fuel pump relay/fuse (in the black fuse box). It said something about the CPS being unplugged aswell? Im a n00b but im guessing thats the crank position sensor?

Thanks for the help

Are you running a 2jz water pump? What mods have you done to the car?

Mine was doing the same after I swapped the water pump to a 2j and found out the water bypass tube oring went bad. Swapped it with a genuine oem one and no problems since.

and a 7m is different from a 1j so that manual your reading is hopeless. Better off reading a MKIV manual for a 2jz one if you really need it that much.
