Just wait it out man, there's a bunch of N/A on ksl, but if you just wait the right supra will come around. I waited for about a year and found a steal on my current supra. Getting a clean body with nice paint with save you a major headache though.

There's 2 of us out here in Tooele, haven't really seen any anywhere else, a few in Salt Lake. If you're looking to do it right don't get a 7mge unless you're planning for a jz swap in the near future.

Yeah it's a pricey swap. If you're not really looking for the speed but more of the looks for the mk3, that one would be a good pick, looks clean. Just depends on what you're looking for and what your future plans are.

I'm just tired of driving around in a 4 cylinder. Heh. Well, a low powered one. I hate a 2000 Celica GT and had to sell it. Liked it, but it lacked power. Now driving around a ford fusion because the parents needed a car to drive when needed, neither can drive a stick. Now, I'm needing a manual with some power. And I'm really friggin picky about my cars. Especially because of how tall I am, I can't fit in a lot.

One reason I kind of trust the supra is its been 1 owner for the past 23 years. So he bought it pretty new and took good care of it.

I hate being broke.

1993 N/A 250k miles for $8900
Needs new radiator, radiator support, fan, headlight, hood, fender, and rear bumper. Salvaged title.
Not local thought.

That MKIV sounds like a horrible deal. You'd be better off buying a clean title SC300 for half the price and half the mileage.

Also, for $4500 a MA70 better have a stockish 1JZ-GTE or a rebuilt 7M-GTE in it. Fair asking price for that N/A '88 with 200k ODO would probably be $2500 at best.

the n/a 87 I bought had ~220k miles on it, 2 owners was super clean other than some paint coming off the front fascia and a BRAND NEW ENGINE $2,000

Word, I bought a rebuilt 7M-GE '91 5 speed factory sunroof for $2000 two years ago. 129,000 ODO, no rust, just a couple of dents, and faded clear coat.

OP: Find a close friend with a set of wheels, pay for his gas, and go on a roadtrip for a car that's not 100% over priced. Also consider saving your money for a 1JZ/2JZ swapped car.

It's just a matter of finding one. I'd much prefer a MKIII with a 2JZ swap over a built 7M. I'm half tempted to just start a Facebook page asking for donations to help me get a car. See how much people donate. Could be a fun project. Heh.

2JZ over 1JZ. I want a window sticker that says "3 liter Honda eater"

It is. Nobody I know would be willing to drive that far, and a plane ticket would cost me too much. An I can't get that much time off of work. I'm the only person in my position.
