I'm assuming this subject has been debated quite a few times but what are the pro's and cons to using 1986.5 -1988 7mge camshafts in a turbo motor? Will 7mge camshafts fit the camshaft journals or is machining required? How much horsepower is gained and does it change the rpm that it makes it? how much torque is gained and does it change that rpm as well?

Same size (measure to make sure though)
No extra power it just shifts the curve to the left of a Dyno chart.
In this day and age it's actually a sidegrade and not an upgrade and goes back to the old days when aftermarket 7M cams were rare/expensive.
