Key won't turn?

Hey guys, another stupid question.
My friend sat in my car to listen to the my system, and I sat passenger. After we were hopping out, I pulled the keys out. He was trying to turn my steering wheel after, and it locked up as normal, but now, I can't turn my key at all. It goes in all the way, but won't turn either direction and my brake pedal is stuck too. I looked all through the manual and it didn't help. Anyone ever had this problem?
Its an 89t.

Any help is appreciated.

Take the load off the steering wheel before you turn the key.

As for the brakes NFI there's no interconnection between the 2 other than the meatbag in the driver's seat

Yep just pull it one way or the other against the lock and try to turn the key.

awww i remember when i freaked out and thought i had really messed up my steering column lol
