just a thought, boost leak tester

has anyone tried using the boost leak tester on the other side of the turbo? like on a cut down pipe or something to find leaks maybe at the manifold flanges or turbo mount. anyway u can mess up something doin it like that?

A smoke machine is better for that job but sure, why not?

Keep in mind if you do this you WILL pressurise the crankcase......

I thought that was intuitively obvious but hey . He needs to keep it low. Couple of psi will do. Hell, my smoke machine is limited to only .5 psi and it shows all leaks.
