So, didnt get a chance to dyno yet because this somehow happened.....
The only explanation i can come up with is either 1. The fan blade just randomly broke a blade and slammed into my rad, or 2. After i went over a big speed bump sideways, slowly, the car or engine flexed just enough for a blade to touch the top of the radiator.
Killed my BRAND NEW Koyo rad. Less than 3 hrs drive time on it.

AWESOME BUILD! Nice numbers for the turbo. I had to go solid mounts as i have the same radiator clearance. Little rough at idle but i love the added torque to the wheels.

^ Yeah.. I am interested in the fan setup.
Did you modified the upper water neck to use a 2JZ-GE fan with the stock 2JZGTE coupling ?
This way we can get almost a +1 inch clearance...and this is what I'll do when I go with an aftermarket aluminum radiator!

Modified water neck (cut and re welded to bring it closer to the timing gear cover). When my fan blew up i was using a 2jz-gte fan clutch with a used 2jz-ge blade. The blade didnt appear to have any chips or cracks. Pretty sure it happened after i went over a large platform type speed bump sideways (slowly!). Thinking the car flexed somehow just enough for a blade to catch on the lip on the top of the radiator. I had to drop another couple hundred on another new koyo right after this happened. I also spoke with Aaron from DM and im running a modified ls400 fan clutch, which mates to a 7m-gte fan blade. Great clearance, no cooling issues what so ever.
