Does anyone have a way of finding JDM part numbers. I am specifically looking for the MKIII Group A oil pan part number!! Thanks in advance for any info.

That wouldn't be in any parts catalog (aside from a TRD race catalog).

Race parts are not in regular catalogs, and if it's not on TRD's Japanese website, (which has all the current TRD Japan parts AFAIK), it's not going to be available.

In short: you're going to have to find a used one.

If you need other production car part numbers, I can look those up.

Hey Jeff, I've been meaning to ask you. Would you be able to get certain RHD parts from Toyota, like interior parts or brake lines and the like?

Up until about 6 months ago... yes. Currently, no.

Not unless the part numbers were already loaded into the system in the past, or if they cross reference to a North American vehicle.

Yes, but Toyota is not importing them, and Toyota does not support their importation (takes sales away from new cars).

Toyota Canada's stance is that they only need to support cars that they have sold, since those cars were not sold by them, they have no responsibility to provide parts for them (and they're right).

On the other hand, there's quite a bit of money to be made from selling the parts for them, so they need to weigh those options, and at this point, they've decided against adding parts to their system unless they are for cars designed for the North American market or if the cars are here from out of country on a trip (they brought their Toyota with them from another country temporarily and need a part).

I have in the past got 2L-TE glow plugs for the LJ7x Land Cruiser, door glass for a 1991 Toyota Starlet GT Turbo, and of course the Japanese rear quarter panels for my AE86 2-door Coupe.

Oh well... such is life. Parts can be acquired through other sources still.
