Yes... its a good deal... Considering brand new, they are 650-750... As long as it isnt broken, cracked or trashed...
Would you know how easy it is to paint CF? Does the paint need any additives to paint CF parts or? Im not into the look of CF hoods but if I can paint it to match the car, so you cant tell its CF but yet take advantage of its weight, id go for it.
Keep the hood CF and get with Duane on some CF light covers... DONT paint it... Lose the weight somewhere else if you're that concerned...
If you really want a matching hood, keep yours, and let someone who loves the CF look buy that hood... There is a HUGE HUGE HUUUUUGE CF shortage right now... If you paint that hood you're waisting it...

Yeah I guess its personal preference.
I like stealth and would like to get the intercooler blacked out so you cant really tell its there unless you really look.

That is my question too. Fiberglass hoods are very big in the aftermarket world, just not for us.:nono:MK3Brent said:

Duane still makes a FG hood, IIRC... I can't see why he wouldn't be making one now, especially with the CF shortage.
