I am wondering where I should place my intake air temp probe relative to my meth injection jet.
I was going to plate the air temp probe immediately after my throttle body just on the inside of my intke manifold (which is an aftermarket Vielside, 2jz MKIIIswaped).
But my concern is that the injected meth will cause a very sudden drop in temp that this probe reads obviously. Or is that the point infact. I guess I'm not totally sure how my standalone (AEM series 2) would react to this change and how it would affect the engine controls it outputs.
Would a better location be to place it immediately after the intercooler and just prior to the meth injection jet. I am planning to put the meth jet in the last slight bend before the throttle body so it will get a clean shot down the length of IC pipe and into the intake manifold with minimal chance of it dissapating from hitting the sides of the IC pipes etc.
The IC pipes are 2.5" throughout the setup being fed by a GT4088r.
