Installing Aftermarket Steering wheel and Hub?

I did some searching and nothing turned up so, I bought a Steering wheel and hub off of Ebay and they didn't come with instructions!! Has anyone one installed one? If so could you possibly do a quick write up? My other question is about the air bag. Once I remove the airbag I am sure the air bag light will stay on, how can I get it to turn off? Thanks for any info in advance!!

Not much other than be careful removing the Bag!

Check it doesn't bind lock to lock before you drive it.

I was told you could take it the dealer to get it deactivated, not sure, havent gotten around to it yet

Okay I guess I am on my own with this one...LOL!! Well I guess since there isn't alot of information about it around here I will do a Write-up after I install mine.

I didnt know my 86.5 has a air bag it dosent look like it has one.:aigo:

mine didnt have an air bag. But removal was easy. for mine, i just popped off the steering wheel, cut my cruise control wires- since mine dosn't even work. Once I had the steering wheel off, I mounted my new hub adaptor and bolted it down with the factory screw, i connected the wireing for my ornd then mounted my steering wheel. That was it.

My airbag was popped, so it wasn't that hard of a situation, just unscrew the center nut, force it off, replace with the hub, screw down, and bolt on the wheel, should only take about an hour, now if you want your horn function, well that may take a bit longer, however in the process your gonna lose your auto signal clickers

With the correct hub everything should still work!

i had the correct hub - MOMO- I had to find another way to rewire my horn and I loss my auto signals

I have a Momo wheel on my Mk3 and everything works as stock.
