hi guys, alittle frustrated but doing good on changing out the lug studs on my car. have everything off as far as the brake pads and rotor off. now im at the hub where the studs are but the dust shield is in the way. ive heard you can just drill a hole out on the dust shield and go from there. guess i dont mind doing that, but was wanting some insight on how to get the whole hub off, then take the dust shield off and go that way. i guess i like to do things the hard way, but i enjoy working on my car. its time well spent. any help would be appreciated. pfox

I come from a land down under
Undo the Nut then press the Hub and bearings out of the upright, press the studs out press the new ones in then press the hub back in and fit a new nut from Toyota restake the nut after torquing it to it's spec (147 ft/lbs) and you're golden.
(you did mention you liked the hard way)
