Yeah, Adam's. I didnt know the 2JZ VVTI bottom end was weak too. I thought it was just a 1JZ VVTI flaw. O well, even better!
1jz vvti is weak? yea the na 2jz vvti is weak... the 2jzgte vvti bottom end is still fairly stong from what I've seen though..

i wouldn't want an Aristo unless its easy to make a 6-speed or ATLEAST a 5 speed. i hate Auto's

i'd follow the other guys Nice 92 targa with a 2JZ swap but use the 6-speed and TT Diff.

i wouldnt geta MKIV, but thats just me not liking the body style, or the pricetag for a car that is over 9 years old. ide buy something cheap and reliable as a DD and restore and build the MKIII with the remaining 10ish grand.

I'd spend the money on a decent DD and a mk3 supra, get your DD and your supra reliable.... then what ever is left, modify the supra.

oooooo hell yea that would be a sick bitch

i would also consider doing an old celica 70's with a 2JZ v160 in it as well

but that'd be over 20K LOL

The Mk4 is beautiful, but to me, it's more of an artwork than a sports car.

The Mk3 is absolutely gorgeous, it has beautiful lines, and a very functional and roomy interior. It can be easily made to have gobs of power.

I would buy a clean ass Mk3 and do some tasteful modification to it, no body kits, not giant wings, no 20" rims.

Which is exactly what i did. :)

Definitely a MKIV! MR2's are cool but are a pain in the ass to work on. MK3's are tight ovbiously but, stock for stock the MKIV blows the MK3 out of the damn pool.
