What do you mean by "expect"?

Good power.. all the time. Reliability will siffer a bit from teh stock setup, but if it's done correctly, it'll be very solid.

Of course.. I spent nearly 3500 on my "kit". Looks like you're looking at a kit that runs a third of that.

I am researching the install so I can complete it like a PRO.

that way I can "expect" to use certain items, or "expect" to have a certain problem with this type of install.

this is why Imma askin for t4 threads. there i can read up on it before I start.

I never wanted to go t4, but I was having trouble sourcing all the stuff that went bad. this kit had most of it. hoses, manifold, turbo, IC.

+I thought that maybe this setup would be a bit more reliable with the motor running stock electronics.

cost were less than a third of 3500.
~22%-
less than a quarter!

Ya. The only way you're going to get a build thread that will help you out if if you use the same stuff that certain thread contains.
fair enough.

I was just looking for a little background info.

My thanks goes out to everyone that helped me in my 7m rebuild.
I think im finally close enough to begin another rebuild thread.

Heres what i've figured out so far

The turbo is a Garrett clone. a/r .60 VBAND! by Exotic Speed, canada
The large intercooler is also from Exotic Speed.
The manifold is also from Exotic Speed.

The BOV and WG come from china... Hangzhou Magic Power Racing Parts Ltd.

I also found out that
1) I will have to brace the turbo somehow to keep it from cracking the manifold.
2) Oil inlet on the turbo can use -3an fittings with no flange.

3) a -4an fitting can be used on the 7m block to feed the oil to the turbo.

4) A -12an flange will be needed for oil return for the turbo and the 7m.

5) I need a vband flange for the exhaust side of the turbo.

6) the WG needs a dumptube which Id like reroute back into the DP. But I still dont know how I can get the external WG to actuate properly. Theres no wastegate port/outlet on the compressor housing like the ct26.
7) the BOV is somewhat of a mystery. Not that I dont know how they work, its just that the damn thing is funny looking. Also that BOV can only vent to the atmosphere.

8) Im gonna need some IC pipes, braided lines, exhaust tubing.

9) I better get me a TIG welder or a friend with one.

10) The intercooler will need mounting brackets fabbed up. The oil cooler better get upgraded too. Im not sure theres enough space inside the nose to keep it all.

However, I was lucky enough to have an RX7 oil cooler layin around. Its big enough I dont think it'll fit.

AND...
I might have found a parts car!!!!!!!!! WOHOOOO!

dont forget fuel upgrades.. 550's, lexus AFM/Maft-Pro, definately upgrade the fuel pump to a walbro or better, AFPR.

and you'll just have to drill and tap the compressor housing.
I just tapped a silicone coupler with a special fitting. works fine.

rx-7 oil cooler will fit.

you should be fine with a.. what.. -10an? return line? I may be wrong.

for sure!

I knew that the turbo will lean me out FAST if pushed.
I really need to get back on the road asap tho...
Im forced to run at stock boost levels till i get it all in.

dreaming of going blow-through with the maft-pro , 550's, AFPR, and the fuel pump.
should i seek therapy now?
