they kind of work, its just a resistor that you can buy from any radio shack for .32 cents. it tricks the iat(intake air tempature) sensor into thinking the air is cooler than it is. will you notice anything, not at all. to my knowledge the supra doesnt even have a iat. so basicly you just got scamed. its ok happens to the best of us.

Scammed is right. So you shift the THA signal (the 7MGE does has an IAT sensor) a little cooler. The ECU responds by adding a bit more fuel into the basic injector calculation. After all the corrections are applied the O2 sensor then brings the mixture right back to stoichiometric. You're back to where you were before except your fuel compensation loop is now shifted, your wiring is hacked, and your wallet is lighter. If the O2 sensor can't correct a rich code will be set and continued operation will result in the slow destruction of the catalytic converter if one is installed. All that's well worth the price if you ask me. And no, it doesn't happen to the best of us. It only happens to chumps who haven't a clue how EFI works. Good thing there's one born every minute.

LOL.......
Don't feel bad dude. I purchased the complete upper gasket set from ebay and they took my money and kept the parts. I will never use ebay again.

Performance decals don't add horsepower... but I suspect that if your body and paint are in REAL bad shape they might help reduce drag. :icon_razz
