Ok well I have good pressure in my front brakes but not the back. I have replaced the master cyclinder. I blew through the lines with the air and they are clear. Is there any way my proportionate valve could be screwed up? I can lock up my front brakes but not the back. We did have some fluid come the trough the back at one time but that was with using a compresser as a suction to pull the fluid back there.

The car also has ABS. Could something with that be wrong with it? we have bled and bled and bled and bled. but still we don't have any fluid coming out the bleeder screws on the back two calipers. Help please this is the last thing needed to get my car on the road.

Apply vacuum to the bleeder valves on the rear calipers while bleeding. I had to do this when I was re-installing my brake system.

were the rear brakes working before?
you sure it isnt the calipers?
ive stripped a bleeder valve before and that caused some blockage and i wasnt able to bleed the brakes properly. i eventually had to replace the caliper after trying to fix it for a few hours

Well I bought the car with a blown motor and I assumed they work'd because I knew the guy and he was driving it everyday till the motor blew. My dad has been helping me work on it. He said it acts like it isn't getting the pressure from the master cylinder. I just replaced it though. It is still acting the same way as before replacing it so IDK.

Try this! I attempted to bleed my system normally but could not get fluid to come through until I applied vacuum to the bleeder screw.

did you bench bleed the master cylinder? does anything come out at all? pull the bleeder screw and see if fluid will come out.

I am having the exact same problem. My car had been sitting for a couple years. The brakes were dragging when I finally got her started. So I replaced the Master Cylinder. Bench bled the master and then tried to bleed the entire system and it wasn't getting anything from the rear. disconnected the lines at the master and confirmed I was getting something there and rebled the master. I got some fluid out the rear but then it stopped. Front brakes seem to be working but nothing at rear and my pedel still feels spongy.

Well I used a oxygen pump as a suction while bleeding the brakes like you normally would. Not as much comes out as you would think it should. I got the back brakes working but they still need to be bled a little more the pedal is still a little soft. I'm just glad to know that there isn't anything else wrong with my brakes.
