How to take out foglight bulbs?

Replaceing my foglight bulbs because they are fried. I remember doing this before and all I did was pull the bulb out of the metal bracket thing. Now when I'm trying to do it I can't seem to get the bulb out no matter how hard I pull. I forgot if I'm even doing it right or not, I need help with something so simple.

You don't replace JUST the glass bulb, you replace the h3 bulb as a whole:

There should be a metal arm that folds over and locks it in place, just fold it up/over and you should be good!

Hmmm...I remember being able to remove just the bulb before on my previous Supra... But maybe my memory is wrong.

Heh, I think it is too. One of the bulbs on my '87 went out so I replaced it with the h3 out of a spare '89 fog. Both were how I described!

Yup you have to take out the whole unit.

Yea I remember having to replace that whole unit now. I just got the fogs confused with another light bulb that I thought the bulb just comes out. I think I'm getting old...:3d_frown:

yep, and if you decide to try and replicate the JDM look, DO NOT MESS WITH THE BULB!! do it on the housing, don't ask how i know. :0
