h'ok lets talk about the rear trim/mouldings and rusted bolts :sadance:

well i removed the rear trim to paint it (89+) and all of the nuts were rusted to the bolts and they wouldn't come off. so i yanked the trim off and cut the bolts off...

well those bolts can't be bought without buying the whole trim piece. i'm talking about the bolts with the flat head that slides into the plastic of the trim.

i looked through the hardware isle at home depot and didn't see anything like it. so if anyone else had this problem what did you do? i don't want to buy new trim because the ones i have are in good condition. i could glue em on but i don't really like that idea.

on some pre89 mouldings I had the metal part that holds the plastic clips on were rusted away. I cleaned em up real good and scuffed em with course grit sandpaper and just epoxy'd the clips to em...held just fine.
