Have a look at the settings on the camera and see if there's a little blue or green flower shaped button/icon?

If there is select that then move the camera a little till it's in focus.

If not move the camera back so Autofocus works then post em I'll enlarge em here so I can see the detail.

I'm not picking shit or blamming you but "if" I had to guess at it and couldn't find a trace I'd say it didn't make it into the motor.

It's stainless and very flexible so I can't see it disintergrating totally.

ouch, but wouldnt that of caused a bind and wouldnt I be able to tell when I turned the engine over after I installed them?
One thing is ive got 1500miles on them and id figure with that many miles itd look a lot worse and I opened up the oil filter and checked it out at my 500mile oil change and nothing seemed out of place for the first oil change after a rebuild....

It wouldn't get into the filter the screen "should" stop the big chunks.

If it has ingested all of the small shrapnel the pump is toast at a minimum.

Yes I'd think you would have noticed something was wrong if it had popped out but I'm at a loss to explain/understand that sort of damage!

How much heat do you think would there have to be to cause something like this? It is no 3 cylinder and is on the inside, I also noticed that no 4 had some extra scratches and the piston had an abnormal wear spot on the skirt. could heat have caused to much expansion on the pistons and caused something bad like this to happen?

Can't really see it being a heat issue.

I've ran motors to death with no coolant/oil in em and they didn't look anything like that!

It's almost like the Oil ring expander was outside of the upper and lower Oil rings.
