I'm having some trouble getting my EVC1 to operate properly(or at all).
The car is constantly building boost whether the EVC is on or off.
The 1st thing I notice is the green lights at the bottom of the head unit that are supposed to read boost do not respond respond at all. I have the constant manifold pressure source going to the right port, compressors tee'd together to the middle port, and the wastegates tee'd to the left port. I assume the left constant pressure port is where the solenoid measures boost and uses it to control the stepping motor and the head unit displays the boost with lights. Possible cause why the head unit lights would not be showing any change? The nonworking display makes me think this is the source of my problem since it's doing the same with the power on and off. If the EVC isn't reading boost, it won't know how to control the pressure, correct? With the ignition on, I can hear the solenoid clicking, so that should be ok.
I am using a Defi boost gauge, so I'm not blindly boosting. I can see the boost isn't stopping and lift off the throttle before detonation occurs(already been through that problem once so I know better.)
Any input from others that are familiar with the EVC1 is appreciated.
