H6054G would probably be good. Dont use the 80/100W setups, stick with the lower wattage kits if you choose to use halogens with these headlights.
Oh, I'm talking about non-HID's. What would be good in general if I didn't wanna go with HID's.

If you are staying with the Halogen lights do the Hella lenses and a good set of PIAA bulbs. I've been running this setup since 1998 and I love it! Some people don't want to pay for the PIAAs so they purchase an inferior bulb only to have it burn out too soon. These people quickly wind up paying the same amount they would have on a good set of PIAAs (or even more). I've been running the same ~$70 set of PIAA H4 bulbs since 1998 bringing my total cost per year down to about $11/year so far.

Late entry into this discussion, but here's my experience.

The ebay "projector housings" that replace your stock housings are all crap. They just suspend a projector-like lens piece in an otherwise regular reflector-type housing. If you examine a real projector assembly, the lens is affixed onto a housing which incorporates the cut-off shield and a parabolic bowl which focuses all light output into the lens.

Anyway, I've been down that road, and have tried so many different HID setups it's rediculous, and here's my current work in progress:

Bosch bi-xenon projector with real Phililps XenDrive. OEM from a Volvo S60. Pics taken with cell phone, but you get the idea. After you use OEM hid housings, you realize that everything else pales in comparison.

BTW, I also have a Philips kit with an H7 base in my Mercedes OEM housing, and it looks like junk compared to my Supra.

Do you guys think i can somehow modify the stock housings to work with my HID bulbs? I was thinking about cutting out the 3 pin bulb out of the housing and sticking HID bulb in the stock housing.

If i understand you guys correctly, HIDs need the glass projector lens in order to work right? so if thats true how would the hella housings work with HIDs?

HID does not need a glass housing to work properly. What it needs is a GOOD housing to work right. Projectors will reduce glare the best and give the best beam pattern over any reflector output. But the time it takes to retrofit them in correctly can be very time consuming and not everyone has the skills to do so.

A Hella H4 lamp works well because it has a well engineered front lens to control the light. SO with the adaptors I carry, along with genuine Philips OEM bulbs, you get a very good output for these types of headlights.

I used to have Cibie ECE housings with Philips HIDs in my MX63 Cressida, and I agree that a good quality replacement housing is the absolute best in terms of bang for the buck and ease of install.

Not arguing that, just pointing out that the supposed "projector housings" that are all over ebay are pretty much crap and pale in comparison to what a real projector is supposed to do.

HIDPLANET-- I bought a Valeo ECE kit from you a long time ago, just letting you know that you carry quality stuff and I recommend your site to a lot of people.

Yes Cibie is quality parts.
Thanks for the kind words and referrals.

I'm actually looking to sell my Bosch units for something with a thicker purple band in the cutoff, even if it is single xenon. Since the Valeo projectors are harder to come by these days, what do you recommend?

TSX single xenons are coming down in price overall. I do not carry these but you can commonly find them for around $160-$170 these days.

The kits from rallylights are plug and play, right?
Yes for halogen only, their Hella Conversion kits simply replace your existing headlight. Just add a bulb, replace the headlamp, plug it in and go.

Even thouse who dont want HID or cant afford it, this should be a great improvement to your lighting in general. You wont be disappointed.

Yeah, thanks to Keiths help, I'll be going with kit # H6054H and for foglights I'll be going with HL88960S (H3).
