I tell ya what Emik, Im sure you COULD, but its more like if you SHOULD?... Is saving $100-$150 on a new mhg worth the worry? And I do NOT trust spraying that sealant crap on my mhg's... You CAN reuse the metal gasket, just make sure all of the Viton, or polyelastomer flourine coating or whatever it's called is all stripped off, then you can spray with Brake Quiet or Copper Spray.
Oh course you still need to make sure both the head and block surfaces are totally straight, and that the RA is within spec, if not below spec.

HK$ Stopper is a $400 gasket so it would be stupid to ditch it after one use if it's still in good shape..
Thanks guys. I think IMO that the HG could be used again, but the fact that if something went wrong i'd be kicking myself in the ass for not spending the extra $300. I think i'm going to just make a picture frame out of it or something. BTW Reign Maker this is my supra and thanks.
Emik, good call... I had an HKS stopper in mine too, and I thought about reusing it, but seriously, the sleepless nights would've drove me nuts... Every little "possible" hg issue would've had me goin crazy with myself for not gettin a new one...

Even chronicle a build if you have the pics from back when... Jesus I could stare at that car all day!

just making sure all the viton is off and replacing it with brake quiet or if you have access to it, more viton...
