Welcome.. Sweet rides.
I dont think we have those in the states. In the last pic, the one on the left is it convertible or something? what does aerocabin mean?

Welcome to Supramania. I've always liked the Soarer's shell. Reminds me more of a Cressida in sport coupe form than a MKIII Supra, though. Nice rides, and thanks for sharing the photos!

This is a good comparison, looks wise...
But it runs a70 driveline (no factory jz model), brakes, suspension, is built on the a70 chassis, and has the same a70 front seats, but the rest of the body panels, lights and interior differs...

I also have this one, although this pic was a long time ago
I didnt get it in this state, and had an accident , which hasnt been repaired yet
But in its prime:

I like to call it a MA20 soapra, opposite of the MZ70 soapra (surer sounds worse than soapra)
The M can be replaced with JZ or G or whatever motor is in it...

Hey supradoods,

Felt like I should share my build, but done so in my intro thread, seeing as I dont come here that much and its not a soop...
I do have a supra now, but its a sight for sore eyes, she needs some love and currently has no motor....
Anywhose, here's my 7m build update, hope you guys appreciate it as much as I do :)

Next motor will be a v12, I'm not going to bother with a 2gayz ;)
Figure its the only thing that would be worth doing

Old engine bay:

After a few items:
p1883212_2.jpg

Also had picked this up: (thanks dan for the hks bling!)
more info on motor in link, some things arent right (cams are toda not hks, few bits Ive changed)

Dyno prior to rebuild:

So I stuck the turbo gear on my 7m, along with a jza70 DD catback system (built auto)

The Culprit:
p1883212_22.jpg

I didnt even know this was my turbo oil dump line...
If I did, it wouldve been replaced when I did the water lines...
After pulling down the motor (it was a freak low genuine km 7m) I found a s2 block with 6m crank
Quite obvious it was rebuilt like this years ago, most likely before leaving Japan (100% sure not factory built, crank was knife edged, lightened and balanced perfectly)

Still not perfect, but its an animal of a 7m...
Most of this is a cut and paste:

Toda 272 cams
Toda cam gears
Completely rebuilt head
Titanium Valve retainers
Custom high lift Valve springs
Ported head
Completely rebuilt bottom end
Cometic 2mm Headgasket
ARP Head Studs
ARP Rod Bolts
HKS long runner manifold
HKS gate 50mm
t76-R built by gcg
(*I was told it started as a hks t04 then the owner got t-66 front housing, but the plate says t76-r custom built by gcg)
HKS BOV (broke this, now removed pending rebuild)
HKS 7M-GT crossover pipe
Polished cam covers
Braided recirculating rad hose mod
Braided every line just about
Samco the rest
Microtech ltx12s and hand controller
Polished Turbo A throttle body and Intake manifold (so I've been told, its the right size I/D)
Blitz 4" thick intercooler
Blitz 2" oil cooler
850cc injectors & custom fuel rail
Tomei fpr
gtr fuel pump (I need to upgrade this for full power)
4 inch hks pod filter

Exhaust:
3.5 inch dump

trust DD catback

Gearbox:
A340e built by MV autos
2800 rpm torque convertor
Stage 2 shift kit
Quick shift Mod
Upgraded internals
Front mount trans cooler
Diff: STANDARD 3.72 LSD ( I will get a cusco 1.5 way one day)

Wheels, Tyres, Suspension and Brakes:
BLITZ TYPE 03 18x8.5 18x9 +38 - Full refurbished with gold plated bolts
Kics Re40 wheel/locknuts
Federal 595s 225/40/18
A70 RDA slotted dimpled gold disks
A70 Brake caliper spacers
Trust/grex pads
JIC front camber arms
JIC lower arm brace
JIC coilovers
Cusco front strut brace
Cusco brake cylinder stopper
Do Luck rear floor brace
Arc titan strut brace

Interior:
HKS glovebox replacement
HKS temp and boost gauges
3 inch speakers and a broken cd player
Recaros going in soon....

Im sure there lots Ive left off....
I have no idea of its full capabilities but its scary...

My car pulled 200rwkw (260rwhp) on 11psi boost, 13.33 @ 101mph when I got it... (have all sheets)
This was just bpu's incl. vpc
This turbo setup on the same block/head handed a ferrari a decent serving by a few lengths, and went on par with a big $ rb26/30 r33 (350rwkw+)
On 18psi it would start powersliding in the higher rpm range in 2nd and continue through most of third, in the dry.
Sadly it blew the weekend before dyno was booked :(

This one was running just shy of 200rwkw on the run in tune @ 7psi with 4500rpm limit
Boost and rpm have been bumped up but Ive only done 2500kms or so, and its still only set at 15psi and 6000rpm...

Youtube vids (nothing special, startups, and a couple old vids on the road, no drags, dynos or burnouts yet)

Found these under my aero
definately not factory (not smooth like factory ones, milling marks all the way around/along them and blue)
Mate says theyre cusco but I cant find anything online about them

does anyone here recognize these?
havent been able to find out what brand they are or where they're from?
(if not I'll post a thread up, theyre drive shafts or half shafts, dont know of any other name US specific but they go from the diff to hubs)

mods: feel free to move this to build, projects or where ever you think it belongs
I doubt the next update will be as long away....

Thread started 2 years back, but thanks for the welcome anyway...
If you're keen I'll put you onto some people in Japan who can sort it out, for alot better price than most others...
I put up a thread about that sort of stuff a couple years back, chased down an item or 2 for people (couldnt find everything that was asked)
I've always wanted to do the same, and this 7m was bought for that build, as was the blue ma70 in background of the pics...
plans changed, but its still on the cards
