When I was taking my engine out...I had a buddy of mine d/c the cpu and pull the harness while I was doing the engine work. When I went to put it back on, there was a leftover plug.. and it's only long enough to fit in the dash.

want to be sure what to do with it before i put the glove box back on.. which brings me to my next question... my buddy also took off the glove..which leaves me clueless to put it back on...does anyone know where i can find instructions to put it back together? lol..I tried for a good 45min then gave up..

1. Keep looking, you'll find the female end to that plug in there somewhere.
2. Glovebox is easy. The big black piece goes in first, it covers the back and top of the glovebox area.
3. WTF? Is that an NA part? I've never seen anything like it...

I had someone help me with my headgasket swap, and they removed some of the wiring harness, and same thing happened. They forgot to reconnect the connector on the starter and told me they didnt remember disconnecting anything. I had to check the TSRM to find that there was a connector on the starter that he missed. Thats the downside to having someone help I guess.

done this way too many times myself.....lost alot of screws..: :biglaugh:
The black backer peice wedges in. There is a metal latch ring that the glove box uses to close. It attaches in the center top of the black pannel with 2 small screws (through and into the upper dash). with this done your black pannel should be alligned. There are 2 other spots in each corner where screws go but many supras that have had work done on them don't get them put back  . Make sure to have the light for the glove box installed before this next part (in the bottom center of black pannel). Now angle in the glove box and use the bottom supprt beam (assuming it was not removed) to bolt it back up. Close the glovebox before fully tightening the screws for alignment! If the black support beam has been removed there are 2 larger screws used to put it back on at the kick pannel and center dash area. If you need more help post some more pics and Ill help or kick your buddys butt for not helping you put it back together:biglaugh: .
