Help for a newbie on 1987 Toyota

Just had this Beauty given to me. Iv always wanted one and my dream has came true. Just need a little help on what is the best engine to put in her. Im looking to twin turbo it and put a new trans in her. She is a 5 speed stock engine doesn't run and has no turbo. If a couple of you guys could help me out with some options it would be appreciated. Saw some people putting 350's in these just didnt seem right.....

Well you could Nut-Swing and get a JZ........or spend half the money and get a 7MGTE and rebuild it

What all are you starting with on that supra are you just needing a motor or is it missing other things? the 2j swap costs add up on the other parts you need to get it running or bolted in I'd say it cost around 6 grand total but don't quote me

Well it comes with the regular n/a engine that could be rebuild and 5 trans which is good. I have all the parts to make it run as stock for now but i really wanna build this thing up. I know its gonna take time and money that is why i want to do it right the first time.

Lol well i found out with my truck anything that is diesel or turbo cost big money when upgrading so i really want to only do it once if possible lol

I would go with a single setup for 600 hp. I'd open it up and refresh everything on the inside to just to be safe but I like to know everything's right

If you're going to have something is near stock and enjoy it that way, I say 1JZGTE VVTi but if you plan to go big right off the bat, then go with a proper 2JZGTE.
