HELP:computer plays wierd sounds

i have a question to ask everyone. at random times i have a sound that plays. its really loud and it sounds like a song or something. it says "hear what i say" and than cuts off. this happens randomly and i cant seem to find what is causing it. does anyone have a idea?

ah yes, i hate that. those little sound clips that go on when a user decides they want everyone on their buddy list to hear some kind of damned song thats probably big on the radio right about now everytime they sign on/off. i disabled that poppycock shit.
when you hear it, open your buddy list swiftly and see who moved. then you have catched 'em.

some motherboards have an alarm system when the cpu is overheating. prolly the problem.
