Guys what did i break here, looks like a vacuum switch, but not sure. Can I get this at a parts store or do i have to go through the dealer? Let me know asap, i need this fixed, because my turbo kit is going on this tuesday.

Valve-Bimetal switch, for emmissions.
Dealer part, although someone around here might have a good one thats not old and dry rotted.
I bought one as well, #90925-05068

Its actually not "essential" and you can do without it until you get the part.

Yes, just make sure there isn't any dirt going in there.
I would plug the hard line on the 3000 pipe.
Like I said its for emissions only, its not an essential part.
Follow the line, it goes to the charcoal canister, then to the gas tank.

junk yard is where I got mine. I went to the dealer when mine broke and 50 bucks is a grip. so went to the junks and found one. its a common part on toyotas so it doesn't need to be vehicle specific.

try jay marks toyota,you might even get a discount! just buy it new,that way you dont have to worry about replacing it with one that might be as bad as the one you replaced.
