Ok, I want to run a bypass switch for my headlights so I can have a switch on the center console and not use the steering column switch.

I admit I have no idea where to begin lol. Ive looked at the wire diagrams and think I could pull it off but would rather any advice how to do it.

Anyone done it before or care to help a fool like me pull it off safely ;)

I've never heard of this being done.

Do yourself a favor and get the electrical suppliment for your Supra. This will answer many of your questions.

You will need a switch that has 3 positions but then you're going to need another switch for the high beams.

The stalk switch is really your best option for this. Besides... what are you going to do with your turn signals?

This sounds like a waste of time to me but good luck if this is really what you want to do.

Yea Ive been looking at the headlight switchs, they seem common enough to get a nice 3 position setup. Turn signals Im thinking about a simple motorcycle style switch somewhere with easy reach.

Wipers, I live in Az and dont bother to drive the supra in the rain so I dont need quick/easy wiper access. Ill have a switch somewhere for them.

OK... I still think it will look funny - and to make the look complete you will have to rework the steering column surround to get rid of the holes that will be left behind.

Not enough bang for the buck/effort in my opinion.

Well the interior is completely gutted, the plastic column housing isnt an issue. The cost of the switchs Ive seen have been under 30$ not bad to make the car the way I want and different from all the rest ;)

hmm... gutted interior. Building a track car? drag or road course? If you're going that far why not just remove the headlights entirely and save even more weight and hassle?

As I said before... nobody has done this before so you're on your own. Good luck.
