Head question and yes I have searched.

I have purchased another mk3 7mgte. It supposedly had a bhg. Go figure no prob a easy fix. Haha not so I got to looking at the cam's and the cam jornals and they are all chewed up cams are trash I know that for sure. Is there any way to save the head or is it just going to be a good boat anchor? I am talking about prob 16th inch of groves in 4 jornals.

I mean it can be fixed but you can buy 5 good complete 7M heads and deck them all for what it would cost to fix the cam journals. Better bring it to the scrap metal yard and get your 20.00
