HEAD GASKET

Hi all Jack here from all the way over in australia..just a question/poll
just wondering what MHG people are using and how long they normally last.my 7mge head has blown and im not sure whether i need a mhg for a n/a car but given the 7m's rep for blowing hg im guessing it would be a good idea???
ill definately be using arp studs just the gasket im not sure about

I personally wouldn't spend the time/money on a proper MHG job for an na, a Felpro or Apex or even factory Toyota would be more than adequate with the ARP studs torqued down. The main reason they blow is due to the factory under torquing of the head bolts. It wouldn't be a bad idea to use a MHG, but it's not really necessary

It's a bad idea if the Block and Head aren't prepped correctly.
