Has anyone does an Air-to-water intercooler setup?

I would rather not re-invent the wheel.



I have an intercooler that fits where the airbox would be
but I dont know how pipes would lead from the intercooler
to everything else wihtout making alot of 90 degree bends
and such


And if anyone knows of where i can get a heat exchanger for less than 100 bucks that would be amazing

I'll go first: I'm sure there will be more to follow, and some to flame me for my saying:


Air to water is great, it does it's job. But in my experiences with them the air to air, has prevailed more often than not. Air to water (aw) is heavy and for some higher HP level's will require too big of a setup. now air to air (aa) uses what is already surronding the car. no extra weight to ass in. Unless you want to go water of Co srpay. so someone else chime in plz

IJ ran an air-water IC...he switched to air-air though

but i just wanted to know what setup you had

i have all the hardware and ive already made my decision

alls i need now is a setup so that i can cut my tubes and put em all together

I've ran 3 different W2A systems all from PWR, they kick arse in stop start boosting situations as they're active and don't heatsoak.

Once you get over 500rwhp the hardware becomes HUGE and hard to fit in a Mk3.
