Yeah Im from CA. Damn, you guys comment fast. There is a lot of stuborn people on the socalsupra forums. I posted the same topic since last week and nobody said anything. I just posted this thread a minute ago and sombody helped me out already. Thanks..

I have an 89 turbo with 18' 245/40 tires. I have eibach with illuminas. Now, I just bought a 91 turbo with stock 5 spoke 16's. I want to keep the 16's with illuminas but have not decided with the springs. I probably go back to eibachs again. Thanks for the help

The ride is a little to rough... but then im plowing through corners already at 40mph and then im swingin the ass end out, im glad its stiff. haha.

my girlfriend complains... actually, i think everybody who rides in my car complains... or they say slow down. haha.

Supramania is the best place ever made on the internet, it feels like a big family here, im on so many different car forums, and theses guys are just hilarious, and some of the brightest people working on these cars...

you try to find a person who knows as much as IJ, but for an eclipse... its IMPOSSIBLE. Supramania FTMFW.

i'm guessing youre in socal since you mentioned the socal forums? i'll admit, it is a little bit slow there, but there are a bunch of helpful people there. maybe not as many here in SM, but it's nice for local stuff.

as for H&R's, i've never ran them but have heard a lot of people saying they bottom out a lot. especially in socal. i''m running eibach pro kit/tokico blues, and i love them.

I dont see how you could run a lowered car in socal... especially in long beach, have you seen the rain run offs there like 14inches deep!

And i dont know about bottom out... i know i cant go over certain "hills" in some parking lots because i'll scrape up all of my under goodies. And i dont rub at all, but thats also on stock sawblades with 215's all around. once i get my 235's on i dont think i'll have a problem either.

Hey BSUPRA, if you dont mind can you post a picture of how lowered your car is with the eibachs? Rennat can you also do the same thing with your H&R's because i want to compare the way those 2 sit. I want to see which car would be lowered

My sig is with H+Rs and HP blues. I love them. they're low, but not too low for me. They gave me copious amounts of negative camber. Good for handling, bad for tire wear.

I had Tokico illumina with stock springs = GARBAGE. Tokicos blew out very very fast with minor autocrossing. I will never buy them again. Go with Koni FTW and Eibach

heres a couple of pics of eibachs with illuminas. Had this combo for about 3 years now no problem. Just leave the switch to normal because sport is just too stiff on bumps specially here in CA. I dont race the car by the way. I guess that is why its still holding up.

Those are 245/40 on 18's. I know the back seems to be a liitle bit high but for some reason it got a little bit lower now. Dont have the current pics yet.

Please excuse the stockness... and the exterior "blemishes" hahaha. It'll get painted soon... i hope... This is on stock sawblades running 215/50....
The front is actually a little under the fender, i cant get my finger to go in like i did the back, the back i can fit two fingers.. which is like 1 1/2inches. but yeah im sitting LOW. haha. Negative camber FTW. And i love when people get in my car and say "wow this is the lowest car i've ever been in" Its funny to hear people say that.

Enjoy the pictures...

Koni sport yellow (adjustable) w/ eibach springs. The koni shocks have a lower spring seat and when paired with eibachs, sit nice. Also allows you to get the back lower. Imho the eibachs are too high in the rear, and the lower spring seat allows you to compensate and get the ass end down without chopping the springs.

Best shock ever!

Wow! Thanks guy. I think i would go with the Eibach because it sits really nice. The H&R's are low but not too low, thats not bad either.

here is Koni adjustiable yellows and Eibach race springs. mind the blemishes. I think It's sits nicely and with dampening set to 4 out of 5 in front and 5 out of 5 in rear car ride is nice and stiff but very very controllable.
