Does this resemble a late MA70/JZA70 engine mount?

I am trying to work out if my 1989 1ggte cross member is compatible with factory JZ mounts. With my VIN number the epc brings up JZA70, MA70 and GA70 cross members all with the same part number.

This is exactly what I want to hear. Is there any definate way to find out if the crossmember would fit a JZ engine on stock mounts without actually fitting it?

If the Xmember part number is the same for JZA70, MA70 and GA70 per your vin, then it will work. As for the mounts, I doubt they'll work for mounting a JZ series engine... I'd just get the JZA70 mounts to be 100% sure.

Yeah I really need to change the title to guess the crossmember, I just thought the engine mounts would be the give away.

Thanks guys,

just make sure when you pull the engine to lift it ever so slightly so weight is off the mounts and all mounts are undone top and bottom and then to be even safer undo the brackets off the engine if you can get to them as they have the extreme annoyance of breaking when removing the engine.

You can use crossmember & mounts just not engine brackets obviously ;)

Thankyou suprra girl. I hope we are right about the mounts, alot of people have doubts as it is a 1ggte cross member. I guess if in the end it wont fit i'll just make some engine brackets that will.
