Is there anyway one could go about finding out (without looking at it)? Because the previous owner did an engine swap and I dont know what year the engine is.
only way to be sure is to take the crank out and look to see if it has all the counter balances or to find the stamp on the crank. theres some photos floating around of a 6m and 7m cranks. i dont recall who posted the pics but i wanna sa IJ
Yeah but my car is a 1986.5 and im pretty sure the tach is from that year too, in which it would have been made for the 6m crank, which wouldnt tell me if I had a different crank now than I did when the car was made.
