I'm thinking that it's another path to explore to help unlock horsepower from within the GE - correct me if I'm wrong, but there's also more aftermarket fuel managers/piggybacks what not availible for the GTE, which you could run on the GE, right?

I'm fairly sure adding those coil packs with the CPS would help add precision to the timing and maybe smooth out the power curve a little - not to mention make the timing easier to play with! Right?

...but would the ECU respond right without the turbo? Are there any extra sensors/ect. ?

Aftermarket fuel managers/piggybacks that work on the GTE should work on the GE also. The only extra sensor I can think of right now is the knock sensor which i hear you can connect all the wires to the singe one on the GE. I would probably get a SAFC for something to tune the fuel though.

yes its possible im about to do it on my car turbo coming this summer. basically you swap all the electronics i.e. CPS Ignitor ECU turbo wiring harness coilpacks and the AFM, and your good to go also the turbo injectors. try the search button first it works wonders............ but here ya go anyways basically the turbo motor is an n/a until the turbo starts makin boost and you go to positive manifold pressure. the ECU adds the ammount of fuel that the AFM tells it to based on how much air is flowing this is a direct swap and you dont need anything to tune the fuel with the ECU will correct it for you i stole this info from someone elses post on here SEARCH SEARCH SEARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!
