I have heard that it is normal for the spec 2 to make a continuous clicking while operating.

Do all electronic boost controllers make this clicking noise?

Its a little annoying while driving with the windows up.

is it the electrical unit itself or the thing that the vac lines plug into?

The clicking noise comes from the boost control solenoid aka where the vac lines plug to.

if it's still working great then I'd just wrap it in dynomat LOL ...the car I test drove before I got my supra had the profec and it didn't click...dynomat will shut it up.

My PB-II only clicked when it was improperly mounted, transmitting the vibrations of the solenoid through the body. I put some rubber underneath it, and it's super quiet now.

IIRC, the AVC-R uses the same solenoid as the Greddy ones.

I installed the rubber washer that came with it.

Still clicks under operation.

While driving with the windows down you cant hear anything but when the windows are up its not in your face loud but its definetly noticable.
