I've been building my mkII for a couple of years now. I typically post on CelicaSupra.com, but it's about time that I come over here and make a build thread.

I have a Ron R FFIM, Lexus IS300 Coil Packs, Full 3in Exhaust (half Raptor Racing, half random fabbed pipes), 2.5in intercooler piping between the turbo and intercooler and 3in between the intercooler and intake manifold, PT6262 Precision Turbo, RC550 injectors, Aeromotive FPR, and a Walbro fuel pump, a Godspeed 70mm throttle body, a Godspeed mkIII radiator, Ford electric fans, 2.0mm Titan Motorsports MHG with ARP headstuds, CP pistons, Crower rods, Beach Performance oil pan, a True Trac differential with a set of 3:73 gears, a Fast Shafts one piece steel drive-shaft, an R154 with an ACT Clutch and Stock flywheel. I'm currently building a Megasquirt II setup... And that pretty well sums it up.

These are Wes's pictures, but this is the pan that he put together for me:

This was earlier last year (I was running a 57trim ct26 at 12-13psi, stock intake manifold, w58, etc.. This was before I changed a lot of what you'll see in this thread).

I'm in love! 2JZ in a MKIII is a fat pig with a badass motor, and it's overdone. 7MGTE in a MKII is a much lighter car, still with a badass motor. This looks like a build I may one day need to reference.

Your time slips don't give any indication of which car you were.

Looks good- alot of good parts have gone into that build!

Thanks! It's taken quite awhile to afford all the parts, I should post some pre-FFIM and pre-6262 pictures; things were looking way different then.

Speaking of which, the white car in half the pictures is a 2jz MkIII, lol. Tell my brother his car is a fat turd ;), his username is NEWGEN. Everyone is going 2jz these days, "Gotta get some of that 7m love!".

The car felt completely different after I swapped the 7m in, even at 5 psi it felt like a monster (but then again, that was 2-3 years ago and it was the fastest car I'd ever driven).

I ran a 13.1. I meant to write something, but when I transitioned my build thread over here I dropped all the text (there's a video above or below the pictures of my timeslips, I ran a bike on that pass... and there's no chance I'd be beating a bike at 12psi on a 57trim ct26).

One day. One day I'll have one of those. My first supra love was a 1982 L Type MKII.

I had a MkIII for a short bit (that's where I got my forged internals, I picked up a parts car for $1000 in Omaha), but I have always loved MkII's more.... :nono:

You're doing it all wrong, do a jz swap. ;)

I don't think the link to your vid will work, you have it as "youtu.be" instead of "youtube" lol.

7M FTW

Just fyi, youtube came up with a shortened way to share links for twitter and such. In addition to writing "youtube.com/watch?v=blahblahblah", "youtu.be/blahblahblah" will also do the same.

Great build!

Good point. I didn't test the link before I changed it. But I still had it in my other build thread and I see that it works. It's also interesting, Google owns Youtube and Google has http://goo.gl/ which is used to shorten links.

Thanks!

No pictures yet, but my MSII board is 20 steps from being complete! Then on to the harness and other related bits!

Pictures Wednesday night!
