Last time I checked, tractor-trailers didnt run on milk.
A lot of jobs that are heavily on dependent on transportation are being hit really hard, but at least 6 people are raking in money like it fell from the jesus.

I live in the bay area, some of the highest gas prices in the US. $2.99/gallon for 91. I live right by Infineon, so I could get higher suckaz. California means crap gas. I see why hippies have veggie oil cars
Get used to it, some forecasters are predicting $100/barrel oil soon. It's ~ $50/barrel now, and I believe it was < $30 a few years ago when we saw $0.99/gal for regular in Cali.
Anyway, the reasons why we're seeing a sharp spike now:
*India and China are beginning to use much more oil than in the past
*US consumption of oil is steadily increasing (aided by SUV trends in the past few years)
*Conflicts/Instability in the middle east

I blame it on the media mostly (more so where they get the information). They always say "prices are expected to fall five cents next week." blah blah blah... This seems to calm most Americans, they say to themselves "oh, it's coming down again, great!" This seems to comfort the public minds, and people keep on going.

Commercial fisherman is the most dangerous, but roughneck (one of the jobs on a rig) ranks high in suckiness, My dad worked on rigs from Oklahoma to Saudi Arabia. And barely any of your money and definetely none of the increase go to them.

Hey what do you know, another week gone by and its now $2.79 for premium, if anybody says that the price increase is caused by our suppliers, another countries using more and SUVs than you are only partly right. AMERICAN OIL COMPANIES ARE MAKING A KILLING OFF OF YOU AND ME AND EVERYONE ELSE!!! Thats all there is to it and the government doest give a $#!t about how high it goes, and will just keep making BS excuses along with the gas companies to defend there actions.
Once it goes up another 0.40, we'll invade Iran and it should go lower. Like when it went lower with Iraq 
now now CK - it expressly says in the rules that political views are allowed, they just have to be ready to listen to the other side and back up their argument. lol
Gas Cartels are like Comedy Central and the creators of Southpark, they can put up whatever price they want, when they want it, because they know that consumers want it that badly.
In conclusion, damn Comedy Central for delaying the release of Chappelle's Show season two from March to June just so it'll coincide with the beginning of season three.

also.. prices didnt go down because of our invasion of Iraq. Also.... the government shouldn't have control of the market..its called a free market...the supply and demand effect folks.... that and the oil producing countries gouging us...so lay off the government..if anything..blame the tree hugging hippy liberals for keeping us from drilling the ANWAR...its a humongous resource that has been left untapped because of stupid environmentalist who think drilling will result in a loss of wildlife, when in fact the wildlife has increased and flourished in the areas surrounding drillsites where as before the drill site no wildlife flourished in that area at all....
