Future turbo 7m

I have a 'Q' for the Champion side of the 7M's.Yesterday i replaced my 20 year old SparkPlug Wires on my '88' N/A supra, 'N.G.K Proformance wires' And Felt & Experienced a MAJOR Increase in power.I know what you all our thinking,W.T.F.I would of changed them 23Yrs. ago but i was only 12,and did'nt recieve her till '07' l.o.l .Here's the 'Q',When the turbo goes out on a 7M-GTE,can you still drive the vehicle and still have enuff power to drive past 80M.P.H or is it best to let her sleep in my garage till the T-26 stock turbo gets replaced???.Just want to know cause i'm going to purchase a 'GTE' soon and was just curious.

I would not drive a car with a blown turbo, yes it will still drive and be able to achive 80mph.

Yes it should drive, but if something goes wrong, you could do major damage to the engine. It's not too likely, i think, but I'd avoid it.

If the turbos bad, it could drain all your oil quicker than youd care to think.

i've also heard of the turbo pressurizing the crankcase sending oil out the pcv system, and even dripping on the exhaust mani causing an engine fire. (happened to someone on here)
