Fuel Filter Location on 87 7m

I've searched and i've found out it's next to the fuel tank...but can someone please give me an in depth location i.e. passenger side or any other possible landmarks so i can find the fuel line and follow it. Thank you and yes I've searched and searched and searched. I feel like someone relocated or something for fuck's sake! again THANK YOU

have fun trying to remove that thing from the stock hardlines, you'll probably just end up ripping it off the hardline

and good luck finding another pump bracket. I say that because the lines from the pump go straight to the pump bracket if I remember right. There was only 20 left in the world when I snapped my lines a year ago. I was tempted to order 2 of them just because of how rare they are now.

That is a must. Regular wrenches will not cut it.
