I have been trying to think if there is a way to run a fmic that has the openings on both sides with a stock intake manifold. Maybe running the driver side IC pipe under to the turbo or something of that sort. Has anyone thought of this, or better yet done this?

theres a few guys running these. when it comes out the drivers side just run a really long peice behind and under the lower rad support and then just follow the stock layout.

Im running that set-up on Lucy. The normal IC pipe off the Turbo crosses over in front of the radiator support as already mentioned. I will try to pop a pic of it tomorrow for you.

This car is long gone, so I can't take any additional pics. Jeff Tamilus bought it from me many years ago, returned it to stock and then sold it to a guy who totaled it.
