I have an 87 N/A. I am upgrading to a turbo engine soon and will be making over 450 hp with the mods I plan to do. Do i need to strengthen the frame at all? Or will it be able to handle it.

The only frame failure i've ever seen on a mk3 was the rear subframe cracking.(Probably due to hard launches) Later supras (from 89 up or something) had reinforced rear subframes.

Other than that mk3's are built like tanks.

I've seen a Corolla twisted from too much torque to the point that you can only get three tires to touch the ground.

The only way I've seen a Supra do the same thing is after a severe accident. :)

There's no difference between the NA and Turbo chassis that I am aware of.
