alright, i changed my spark plugs tonight (finally! lol) and once i unplugged the 1st and 2nd wires i noticed oil around the boots. the rest of the plug boots were dry. there was oil in the galley or whatever you wanna call it ( the area between the cams). is this the valve cover gaskets leaking? i'm still learning about the 7M's so any feedback will be greatly appreciated. thanks, Josh

either valve covers or the no.3 valve cover bolts. if you valve cover bolts are loose then they are most likely your problem(which 9 times out of 10 they are) or you need a 14mm Allen to remove the oil galley plug and re seal them since the no.3 valve cover(the part that the top of the spark plugs rest on) are old, worn, hard, brittle and no longer have a rubber seal on them. you can use fipg or there is a napa part number floating around here for o rings to seal them up.
