This video is only as old as the internet... But the comments below the vid are nice... I like the guy who met a guy with a "Supra" that was pushing over 1100hp on a 1J, because the guy didnt want a 2J, and he drives around on "low" boost for only 500hp...

I met a dude last weekend that has a Supra pushing over 1100 horses at the back tires. He uses the 1JZ instead of the 2JZ. Not much diff, just a flatter power band. I just thought my S13 was fast at 500 horses with a VG30......... I know better now!
He drives it daily with the boost cut down so it 'only' pushes about 500 or so. Not cheap but soooo much fun!!

ya the 2jz really isn't much different than a 1jz i guess... they are both inline sixes and have two turbos a piece... pff so what if the 2jz is a couple years newer, has larger turbos, and has an extra .5L to play with... same dif! :3d_frown:
