thats the one i use

relocated to the back, 0-gauge wire throughout, new high output mr2 100amp alternator, 100amp fuse, and a 1.5F digital capacitor for the car audio and to clean up sound.... so far it's great, i get rock solid 14.7V at idle, and it never dips below 12.1V even after sitting for two weeks with the alarm on. (it's usually about 12.4-12.5V right after I shut it off).

btw - you can get them at costco pretty cheap compared to car audio shops, etc...

Sweet! I think I might pick it up then. I'm really getting sick and tired of the cheap Autozone/Napa/Advance batteries, haha and my battery relocation will be happening in the coming months...hopefully. Thanks for the info.

i tried that battery, but the terminals wouldnt reach. so i went w/ the 34R and it fit perfect, plus it was a little more powerful.

at the time, yes. the terminals if you unbolted from the fender and stretched the hell out of them they would just barely reach w/ the battery sitting crooked. sure, i could have made new cables, but i didnt for 2 reasons. 1, why do that when i can get a different one that will sit right in. 2, it was getting relocated later down the road anyway. no need to do something twice.

Napa batteries always work great for me. Those Autolite batteries are shady...

<---- That's what I'm rockin now, haha. I was broke when my alternator died and I wasn't about to put a cheap one or used one back in there so I bought a brand new one. There went my paycheck, so my dad felt bad and bought me that battery. It came with like a 1 year warranty I think it was, but I've had to replace it 3 times already. So yeah... fuck it. It always dies in the most inconvenient place.

So now I'm gonna fix the parasitic draw that I know is happening from the A/C and somewhere else and then upgrade to Optima.

I ran some new wires for my battery and they've got some slack, so hopefully the 75/35 will fit. If not, then I'll just relocate it now. Thanks for the input :bigthumb:

I come from a land down under
Yellow Top had it for 3 years now and it has lots of periods of inactivity (well it's in a Supra so I guess that's normal)

Never had a single issue with it and love it!

Mine is mounted in the Hatch.
