Figured I'd just post this up to help out anyone who might search on this in the future.

My power door locks stopped working, but only when I hit the electric button to lock them. Unlock worked fine and so did manually flipping them. They started to quit only on hot days and then they completely quit locking with the button. Neither button (driver or passenger) would lock them.

I figured it was a corroded wire in the door or a broken wire in the door jamb, but after I checked them out it turned out to be fatigue cracks in the solder joints on the circuit board in the brown "door control" box that's mounted below the speaker box on the drivers side door. I reheated and added a little bit of electrical solder to each joint that was cracked (you need a magnifying glass to see the cracks) and coated the back of the circuit board with clear nail polish to re-seal it from the moisture when I was done.

Door locks work fine now.
