Hey all, was wondering if foiling the rod and crank bearing was a fix when rebuilding an overheated 7m? Got my 88 over a year ago and decided to start from the bottom up examining, testing and replacing any issues. Trying to figure out why someone did that, the machinest said one journel was .002 over spec. Will be getting the short block back from the machine shop next month with a whole new bottom end :biglaugh:
