flat front indicators

Hiya, I have noticed a number of cars on-line with flat front amber indicators (the ones on the side near the wheel not the ones on the front of the car) JDM/UKDM ones both have a bubble in them that sticks out but these seem to be flat all along like these but amber: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/89-92-Toyota-...CarParts_SM&hash=item1bfd8f96b9#ht_1722wt_907

Anybody know where I can get these from? are they after market parts or a Toyota part used outside the JDM or UKDM? and if so does anybody have the part numbers?

Usual USDM side markers.
You could try and offer a trade here in the FS section for your markers.

They're North American markers, and contain a reflector, which bubble markers do not.

We want them as much as you guys want ours, so you could set up a trade, which I have done successfully on all 3 of my Supras..

To me the bubble markers were hideous, but there's no questioning their functionality once they're rewired to blink, which I have done with all my cars. Then they grew on me..

Someone rewired mine to blink (car came with bubble style), and always found that kinda neat, almost modern... That said, I never minded the look of the flat style I had on my 88.

My fronts blink. need to do the rears. I hated the bubbles at first but now i love them.

So wait, what? The USDM Supra's have reflective strips on the side instead of blinkers? And on the rear quarters too, unlike my car which is a jap import?

They're lights, they don't blink (unless wired to do so, and I recommend it). They also reflect, though I thought the bubble ones did too...

Naw bubbles just light up. Seems like they should have tho.
