Here is my 87 Turbo Supra project that I've been working on since last year but Ive finished up alot these last few months. The Supra was bought on ebaymotors in july of last year and this is what it looked like

p1142639_2.jpg

p1142639_3.jpg

p1142639_4.jpg

p1142639_5.jpg

p1142639_6.jpg

p1142639_7.jpg

p1142639_8.jpg

It had one bad metal brake line when I bought it so I went to the dealer and bought some brake lines and some new parking shoes...

p1142639_9.jpg

and then a few more brake parts:evil2:

p1142639_10.jpg

so then I had all the brakes working great and now the engine needed some minor work it had

-oil leak
-bad exhaust studs
-oil filled in the intercooler pipes and the spark plug valley
-transmission gasket leak
-high pressure line powersteering leak
and some other problems

so I fixed all that and installed a

-intake filter
-hks style downpipe(made a nice difference)
-few new gaskets

and for the interior I gutted out all of the burgundy interior(except the headliner) and replaced it with all of my old gray interior from my first 87 Turbo(parted out last year) which was in mint condition. I also installed a am/fm cd cassette player from a 97 land cruiser which is very nice, works great, and lights up green with the headlights and a 2 gauge pillar.

p1142639_11.jpg

p1142639_12.jpg

after that I installed some clear turn signals and some aftermarket headlights and fog light bulbs(6004k style)

p1142639_13.jpg

p1142639_14.jpg

p1142639_15.jpg

p1142639_16.jpg

so I did not work on the car after that for the winter and then in the spring I installed some H&R's(which I will be getting rid of soon because my new 18 inch wheels and tires hit the rear wheel well over bumps), but other than that I did like the springs.

p1142639_17.jpg

and now within the last 2 months here are some pictures of my finished supra and the things I've done are

__Engine__
- new 3 inch ddp
- new koyo radiator
- new belts
- removed a/c components
- shimed the wastegate
- all new Toyota radiator hoses(along with the Toyota red coolant:naughty:)
- new ngk spark plugs
- new ngk spark plug wires

__Interior__
- Super monitor
- painted the gauge panel black
- installed 6.5 speaker pods with infinity reference speakers
- insalled blue led floor lighting and put one blue floor led on the passingerside as well and looks very nice

__Exterior__
- rear sunshade
- replaced both taillights to a mint non leaking set
- replaced both taillight gaskets
- replaced the aftermarket headlights with 10k hid fog lights and headlights
- new 18 inch rims on some nexxon 235/40 18's in the front and 275/35 18's in the rear
- 3 TRD logos
- clear turn signals
- working oem power antenna
- 88 style spoiler(nicer 3rd brake light design imo)

and some other things I cant think of right now ...

looks nice. is that the origonal color? if so why not try to find a front bumper cover and header panel that color with good paint? would make your car look mint.

Your thread title is funny. It has the word "Finished" in it. Silly, silly, boy. Supra owners are never finished. I can't see the pics here at work, but it sounds like the work has paid off for you. Now you can drive and enjoy.

Nice car, We should meet up sometimes, i m trying to get bunch of mk3's for chi2k9

If I can somehow manage to get mine done in time, I'll be at chi2k9. Mine is definatly a work in progress right now. Fully gutted interior at the moment, and im going to attempt a custom dash, and a ton of other goodies. I pretty much have a 10k budget to play with for the motor right now, and plan to do just that. LOL I'll actually have to keep an ear open for the chicago supra meet next year.

Looks good man, I'll be looking for this thing driving around.

As for chi2k9, I'll be there. Hopefully I'll have a job to fund it...

Thank you everyone for the comments.

-gelboy1015-

The rotors came from ebay and these are the same ones I have

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyo...ryZ33564QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I like the design to the slots because of the angles at the ends(you'll see in the description).

-williamb82-

Yes the paint is original but I want to wait to get it painted next year cuz I need to save to get the rust fixed as well.

-gtsfirefighter-

lol, what I do is trick myself into thinking its finished so then I can still have some money left over and not buy anything else I dont need.

-derek-royce-

I got the rear shade from kevin here in his GB

http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67276&highlight=kevin

I had to cut some metal off of the mounting brackets but other than that it looks and fits great.

-fonz87, rawmk3, Moy-

Im going to try and be at chi2k9 next year as long as nothing happens to my Supra but even if we make a small Supra meet but we all should meet up some time later this year.
