so as you may of may not know ive been trying to get this on the road for sometime. heres a little recap for those who dont know. The car is originally a 87 turbo targa 5spd. i got this car from a cousin of mine who had it parked for about 8 years. So after bugging him to let me have it after i totaled my 86.5 he finally gave in. so i replaced the head gasket changed all fluids and fuel and everything along with the interior. so after getting this car on the road around last january it broke down or had problems about once a week. and finally in march it drew the last straw, got me a ticket adn went ca-put on the same day. so i parked it over the summer, and during last fall i pulled the motor out and pulled the motor out of my 86.5 and put that into the 87 and tried to go NA-T, which didnt work out to well.
So after finally figuring out that the na-t wasnt gonna work at this time, i decided to go back N/A. And i finally got it running about june 08, but not really good. and one day i drove it and the rear bumper caught on fire due to the exhaust being to close to it. and the car kept on overheating. so finally last week i took the radiator out of my 86.5 adn put it in this one adn got it to stop overheating. and today i finally was able to change the rear bumper and put on a new/old exhaust. so now its finally running good. (*KNOCKS ON WOOD)
CLIFFS: car started turbo then went n/a then went NA-T then NA again
