i just got a used fan clutch today and was wondering if its suppose to spin freely or not? i didnt have one previous to this because i had an electric fan. it spins smoothly, but if i spin it manually, it wont spin freely on its own.

because it was a 12" no namer that wasnt blowing much. plus i've read on hear that most experience lower temps with the stock setup. that is unless you have a really nice electric setup; which i dont.
another quick question....is there anything special i need to know about the fan shroud or how it attaches (i dont have it yet)? im putting one on tomorrow, so do i need any bolts to hold it on because i dont really know how its held into place, or what holds it there. i couldnt find anything on the tsrm about it either. any advice appreciated!
